Mogire Cardiac Risk Audit

What labs do I need to bring to the Mogire Cardiac Risk Audit?

Evidence rating

Bring whatever labs you have, there is no wrong starting point. If you have a recent annual physical panel with standard lipids (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides), a metabolic panel (glucose, liver enzymes, kidney function), and an HbA1c, that is a starting point. If you have more, ApoB, hs-CRP, a CAC score, a Dexa scan, CGM data, bring it all. The Audit works by reading what is there and identifying what is not.

If you have no recent labs, the Audit includes guidance on a minimum recommended panel to order through direct-to-consumer labs before the session. The specific tests: ApoB, Lp(a) (order once), hs-CRP (high sensitivity), fasting insulin, standard lipid panel, complete metabolic panel, and HbA1c. Total cost through LabCorp Patient or Quest Direct: approximately $150–250. You can order these without a physician's prescription in most US states.

What to do: Order labs before scheduling if you have no recent results. The session is most valuable when there is specific data to review.
